I want to work as a Journalist and go into the Media Industry because i am a good writer and i have always been interested in Writing since i was very young. English has always been my strong point and i love creative writing. The reason this Job appels to me is becuase i wanrt to take my Creative Media Course further and find a career in what i do best.

There are many roles available within the Broadcasting Industry such as Editor's, Reporters, Camera Crew, Managers, Writers. They all take part in producing what we watch listen and hear.
To work in the Broadcasting Industry you need to have GCSE's at least B in English and they prefer to take on people with a degree in Humanities or Journalism or Media studies.
Freelance is when you are self employed and people hire you to work in different places. An example for this would be radio presenters as they change where they do shows in terms of stations. A permanent employee is someone who is tied into a contract with a company and works for them. Within the broadcasting industry anyone who is on a contract to a company is "Permanent".
Casual Work is when you can choose your own hours to work and the company gives you flexible timetables.
